you're sexy, sultry, and super feisty. you're tons of
fun, especially in the bedroom, but you need to treat
people a little bit better - especially those who love you
and take care of you. it's okay to have fun, but don't
forget to say thank you! which desperate housewife are you? find out at tell-tale-heart! gabrielle is my fav:) although, i have no idea whether i would have threw the passport into the fire....pure chaos on wisteria lane! | | Friday, July 30th, 2004 | | 10:20 am |
last day of work
ah, the joys of working at williams honda are finally coming to an end. the day this started off with mixed emotions, first we had a yummy breakfast at the crackerbarrel so i was in a great mood but it quickly shifted to frustrations after hearing people complain and whine about work stuff. one of the most important lessons that i will take away from working in the car business is the importance of personal accountability and flexibility. anyway, needless to say, i am so excited this is my last day and that i will be in denver tomorrow!!!!! | | Thursday, July 8th, 2004 | | 5:05 pm |
digital camera help!
so, with all this time on my hands, i have been surfing the web like mad. my latest interest is in finding a good digital camera. i would like to purchase one before i go to new york next week but i don't know if i can find one i like in time. does anyone have any advice on what to get? i was thinking about getting either a canon digital elf or a song cybershot. anyway, i am starting to get so excited about going to nyc!!! fodors has become my new obsession. i think i am going to rent serendipity to get me in the mood:) | | Tuesday, July 6th, 2004 | | 1:26 pm |
bored....
i am so bored right now....the story of my life....lol... anyway, yesterday was so busy so i guess that makes up for today's lack of fun. we had the grand opening ribbon cutting (go HONDA!) yesterday so i spend most of the day setting up and cleaning up. i didn't mind because it beats siting at the desk any day. the best part was eating the yummy honda cookies.... this weekend was a little out of control too...good times:) on saturday my fam and i went to the big farm (my uncle's place) and had a great time lighting off fireworks (which is serious business in my fam) and just catching up. sunday i spent most of the day sleeping since the weather was so yucky. but, later i went over the kristy's to hang out. | | Wednesday, June 30th, 2004 | | 4:52 pm |
so i look like i am 12 now....
last night, after work, i went down to pavlova to get a color and cut but things didn't go as hoped. i love the color of my hair down (back to a dark brown) but my stylist (a french dude with a hot accent) gave me the rachel cut - which i said a thousand times i didn't want. oh well, hopefully it will grow out soon and till then its ponytail USA! anyway, tonight i am going to get a pedicure with my mom... | | Tuesday, June 29th, 2004 | | 9:32 am |
surf's up baby!
i am so hooked on this summer's answer to the OC, the northshore. granted, the cheese factor is off the charts, but this soap has got it goin' on (sorry, someone was just singing the stacy's mom song, so now i have it in my head too...). yeah, so no one is as cute as ben, but the storyline is fun to follow. everytime i watch it, i want to move to hawaii and work in a hotel, but for some reason i don't think it will nearly be as excitiing as the northshore...just a wild guess. anyway, last night i was trying to finish up angels and demons too, i only have a few more pages to go. its good so far but the writing formula is so similar to the da vinci code that i think i am just reading an extended version of it. good thing i loved it the first time around. | | Monday, June 28th, 2004 | | 9:36 am |
i've got a case of the mondays.....
i guess a fun weekend makes starting the work week even harder. anyway, on saturday i went out to elk rapids with some of the office ladies to celebrate a birthday. it was so fun to walk around the downtown area and visit the cute little shops. i bought a new bottle of yummy smelling mango lotion there - its called archipelago sugar lotion. after walking around for a little bit we went to see harry potter...of course that was fun to watch. we also went to dinner at Pearls in Elk Rapids, which offered up some delicious new orlean's style cooking. finally, to cap off the evening i met mandy and her aunt & friend at poppycocks for a drink. i always lunch dinner and it was so fun to enjoy the chill atmosphere at night too. sunday wasn't as busy but i needed a day just to lounge. i read outside on my deck since it was so sunny and beautiful. despite the fact i was wearing jeans and a sweatshirt because it was freezing, i did get a little sun. i didn't really mind since i want it to be summer so bad!!!! rumor is that the temperature will start rising later this week. i'm crossing my fingers..... | | Tuesday, June 15th, 2004 | | 5:38 pm |
wow
i haven't updated my journal in SO long....which is odd considering all i do is surf the web all day at work. loads of fun, right? anyway, my life was been very low-key lately. it was so fun to hang out with the tc crew (tk, kristy, and webbie) and to visit some lovely alpha gams downstate. i hope to visit again soon! i actually will be downstate again this weekend but i will be with my parents- we are going to see my aunt and uncle....more of an update lata..... | | Monday, June 7th, 2004 | | 1:08 pm |
hmm....maybe i will have to get one...oh yeah, i don't have any money...lol... | | Friday, June 4th, 2004 | | 8:43 am |
yeah for the alpha gam weekend!
i am so excited for this weekend, which started last night:) kristy, tk, webbie, and averil came up to stay at the shores. it was so fun to finally hang out with some michigan friends again. i miss everyone from ann arbor so much and thats why i am so excited to head down there tomorrow, but there is much fun to be had tonight:) i think the girls and i are going to hit up some of tc's finest bars...lol...it should be a good time. | | Wednesday, June 2nd, 2004 | | 3:27 pm |
happy hump day!
yeah, so i am so excited for this weekend! it will be a great relief from my mundane life in tc. first, kristy, tk, and webbie are coming up to tc and staying at kristy's cottage. hopefully i will be able to hang out with them soon. then, on saturday, i am going down to ann arbor to visit with some lovely alpha gams. i am soooooooooo excited to see everyone. if you are around, give me a call so we can hang out saturday night! i hope to hit up some of the fine ann arbor hot spots. | | Tuesday, June 1st, 2004 | | 8:50 am |
busy weekend??
boo. it's tuesday and i'm at work. i guess its ok though, since my weekend was fun and relaxing. saturday, i had dinner with carrie and her mom and friend after they completed the tc marathon. congrats, again!! it is so amazing that she completed it when most people only ever dream of attempting such a goal....i mean, i can't even run a mile without taking several long breaks. i guess i will start with a less demanding goal...lol... anyway, later that night i went out with julie and mary and we hit up some downtown bars. it was so fun to get out and have a good time in traverse city and it was weird to see so many random people that i have not run into since i was in high school. i guess the night time is everyone's time, not just mine...yeah, its a reference to the new mary higgins clark book, which i recommend...nevermind.... on sunday, my sis and i went to see raising helen, which was so cute!!!! i thought the every part was perfectly matched but the director did a crap job of putting the movie together. it was still so cute though. i also rented loads of movies too this weekend. the first one i watched was the magdalene sisters, which was so scary. it definitely was not a movie to watch alone though, because i really wanted to discuss the movie with someone after watching it. so, if you ever watch it let me know so we can talk about it. yeah, probably my rented-movie watching experience is not that interesting to hear about but i really enjoyed them, so i guess that's why i keep going on and on about it. so anyway, i rented and watched 16 candles for the first time. i loved it!!!! i can't believe that i never watched it before...so lame but i am so glad that i finally did watch it. ok, and the final movie i watched was runaway jury, which if you want to go into law - you should watch it. also, if you took social psych you should watch it too!!! i felt like i better understood the principles behind the movie's premise because of that class. i guess my time at michigan was worth while....that's worrisome, right? | | Saturday, May 29th, 2004 | | 3:41 pm |

it's almost the weekend!
these last few hours of work are so rough. i am in such a bad mood but i don't really know why....this is the only day this week i had to work but i am having trouble realizing the reality of the situation. i have to do this all summer long. boo. at least the money's good. it will allow me to go to nyc with the girls so i am grateful for that. i think i am going to head down to ann arbor next weekend so i am excited for that. hopefully it will be enough entertainment to last me for the next few weeks.....yeah, i so cool.... ATL what?
hey! i am back from atlanta and i had a great time:) we got off to a rocky start since our flight was cancelled on saturday so we had to leave on sunday morning from a different airport. it was a little rough but we finally made it. we just relaxed the first day since we had to be up at 3am so nobody really had any energy to do anything hardcore, like explore the land of buckhead. my sis and i walked around for a little bit and ended up getting some sushi takeout from a really cool Japanese restaurant. while we were waiting for our order, our server brought tiff and i some free sake to enjoy during our wait. i was so excited - this was our first experience of real southern hospitality. i knew it was going to be a great trip:) i favorite places in atlanta were the CNN center, the World of Coke, and the margret mitchell museum. CNN was so cool because we got to see the newsrooms and the the anchors in action. we heard a interesting story about how one of the reporters during the gulf war wore this spring jacket that was lined with $100,000.000 so he could move around freely. that is so crazy! Coke wasn't as cool as CNN but they did have a huge tasting station. i got to sample the different sodas that coke makes from all over the world. i thought that was well worth the admission price...lol...good times.... anyway, so overall i had a great time. atlanta was such a fun, relaxed city. buckhead was a great place to stay and it was fun riding the train to mid-town during the day. i am almost there
yah!! i am so excited that i only have three more hours of work before i can start packing for atlanta!! i am trying to think of fun stuff do there, so if anyone knows of a good place to hit up there, be sure to let me know. i have been looking up stuff on the net.... so on the work front... the day is going by so slow but i almost done for the week. surprising, i am having a good day here. not much is going on, which is good since that means no drama. work...boo
its 4:21 and i am so ready to head out for the day. granted, my job does not entail much but i think that's why i am so bored. for the most part everyone is nice but there are some individuals with difficult personalities. hopefully they will learn to better communicate with individuals such as myself....whatever Current Mood: annoyed | | Wednesday, May 19th, 2004 | | 2:59 pm |
